According to the NRDC over 40% of food produced in the United States never gets eaten. This year we want to focus on this and find ways that we can reduce the amount of food waste in the food system.

The main event this year is Sunday, October 23rd, called Replated: A Community Meal. Replated will be a free community meal for anyone who would like to join. An entrée packed with gleaned veggies from local farms will be served. More details to come!

  1. Sorry, but I couldn’t find a “send” prompt at the place where I could RSVP my attendance to the Food Day event at MATC on 10/23. I am attending & so is a friend of mine. Thanks for putting on the event. We must try to feed everyone & stop needless waste of perfectly decent food.
